Myrtus is an evergreen shrub or small tree, growing to 5 meters (16 ft) tall, a tiny baby!
The flower is sweet like her: it's like a little star with 5 petals, and numerous stamens creating a pompom inside the white flower.
Her fruits are round berries containing several seeds, most commonly blue-black in colour.
A variety with yellow-amber berries is also present. The seeds are dispersed by birds that eat the berries, they are her best friends, as well the insects ♥

Fun fact:
When trimmed less frequently, Myrtus has numerous flowers in late summer. It requires a long hot summer to produce its flowers, and she doesn't like winter frosts, so be sure to protect her from that!
