It all started when I went to look through Naoko Takeuchi's Sailor Moon artbooks to find a specific image. As always, I got sidetracked and spent a long time looking through each image. Then I went on to CLAMP artwork, particularly CCS stuff. And it occurred to me that it has been so long since I've drawn what I love, what I've always loved drawing; pretty pictures featuring cute girls with long of petals and flowers. XD I've been so focused on improving and painting realistically and all these things that I haven't felt like drawing in so long. I finally am good enough and have access to all the materials I need to draw the pictures I always wanted to when I was little and suddenly I've moved on to other things.

And of course my mother had to come along and make a comment on how she wishes I'd draw useful things. >__> Yeah.

So anyway, here's to returning to my starting point and what I love!

This is Chloe. I went crazy with a new sponge and made quite a nice background, then moved on to decorating her draw with white gouache. There are a lot of errors in this pictures, anatomy wise, but I didn't want to focus to much on them. Her arm came out wonky because of a mistake I made while inking, but that's all right. I put a lot of effort into this picture, starting with a sketch, then a bigger picture, then I flipped it and worked on my light box to fix things, then finally I inked really carefully, trying to make the lines as delicate as possible. So overall I'm happy with it.

Materials: Watercolor paper, Sakura Microns, Watercolors, White Goache, Masking Fluid, Sponge
