Yeah, I also post on y-gallery... seeing fanart of these two and the other really weird-looking villains in One Piece there was what convinced me that I had to read it some day.

Oda sure has fun/weird/awesome designs for villains (Eneru with floppy and long ears with a swimming hat) or the creatures in general (sea monster bunny, really?)

Well, Eneru has kind of a Buddha-inspired look. (the long earlobes were a sign of wisdom) A lot of the other characters, I've got no idea about, though. I get the feeling that Moria's final design was probably inspired, (in part) by Hades, from the Disney version of Hercules. Oda seems very fond of Disney films in general. XD

The idea I like the most is that Kuma and Moria are friends who drifted apart, to be honest, but... slash is slash. XD
I like both characters quite a bit, though it always bothers me when drawing Kuma that he only has one facial expression.
