Description It's a strange thing to witness the reactions of the Indians : they take pictures and walk around as if on holidays... But Pondichery is quite a touristic place in India so, after all, maybe those people are really local tourists cought in the strom ?

----

During the night of the 29th to the 30th december, Pondicherry (India) was hit by a cyclone. This was quite a moment. The wind was turning, singing, shouting for the whole night.

The morning, the hurling wind was gone and replaced by heavy rain, flooded streets and collapsed trees all around the town. Moving around became a very difficult adventure but a real necessity to get food & fresh water.

In the neighborhood I stayed, we stayed without water & electricity for 3 days.

Wow... pretty sad scene. It's so weird to see it happen to other people and not me. I feel like we are in two completely different words.
