Part 3

After Mr. Alvin kissed me unexpectedly, he said that Colin was suspended for a while and I was off from school for the day. His hand brushed my cheek and he was off to class as well. I was still sitting up on my bed thinking. I never really put any thought into like another man, until now. I can’t believe Mr. Alvin would do that to one of his own students! What if he gets fired because of me?! I shook the thought out of my mind and got out of bed. I searched for some fresh, clean cloths and went out of my room. When I locked the door, I saw a huge footprint on it. This must be Mr. Alvin’s. His foot is really big. After a moment of thinking I scampered off to the showering room. It should be empty at this time. No one should see me going in since it was the middle of class time.
I went in and striped myself of what I had put on and hung it on the rail of the shower. The showers handles were dried; they hadn’t been used this morning. It was cold in the room, goosebumps formed on my arm and I hurried to turn on some warm water. As I twisted the knobs, I had totally forgotten that the feel of ice cold water would spray on to me. I leapt back and slipped on a bar of soap that sat on the tile floor soaked for days. My head banged on the wall of the shower and I blacked out. The water that splattered on me began to get warmer.
Less then five minute later, cold water started pouring on me. I woke and looked around. No one was in the room. I warmed the water again and showered. Suddenly, black inky water started to dip down from my head. I quickly hurried to a nearby mirror and saw that the word ‘ASS’ was written on my forehead in a black maker. “HUH?!” I shouted. Then I covered my mouth, hoping that no one heard. What happen? I was only out for about five minutes. Was it the same person who turned the water cold? Ugh, he even saw me passed out on the ground, nude. I feel so stupid. The shower was back to warm and steaming. I tried to rub the letters off my face; I scrubbed it countless times, but the end result left only a bit of the word’s outline. My forehead was bright red and it was hardly noticeable, but close up, anyone could see it. Luckily my dark bangs covered the redness and the marks. I finished up, dressed, and walked out.
I roamed the hallways here and there. It was about time for classes to be over and time for all the boys to have lunch. Before I had a chance to turn the next corner, a voice spoke. It was Mr. Min, my English teacher. I put my back to the wall and listen to what he was saying. He was on his cell phone.
“No, you can’t do this,” he whispered into the device.
What is Mr. Min talking about? I wondered.
“Why? You’ll just get yourself in trouble if they find out,” he looked around.
Trouble? I peeked around the corner.
“You have to sto-” he paused as he spotted my head at the corner of the hallway. “P-Pet?”
Oh no! I’ve been found! I turned and started to run. Seconds later the bell rung, doors sung opened, and students rushed out to lunch. People here and there would hush and quit talking around me. They started talking about what they think happened last night. Colin’s name would pop up in small groups and looks of discuss was pointed at me. Someone tripped me while I tried to get away from Mr. Min. I fell flat down and no one helped me up. Not even the teachers would come close to asking if I was okay. I just sat up and waited for the crowd to die. Then, I noticed that I had left a trail of water, dripping from my wet hair, leading to me. Great, now Mr. Min can find me like I was just waiting for him. Tears poured down my cheeks, Why is all these bad things happening to me?
“Pet?” a voice came out of nowhere. I looked up in shock. It was Mr. Alvin. He stood tall and mighty, just looking down at me. “Are you alright?” he asked.
I tried drying the tears, but they won’t stop. “Just dandy,” I said as I worked my way to stand up. A pain struck me on my ankle and it refuse to let me get back up. “Ah.” I whimpered and cried even more.
He kneeled down beside me and examined my leg. “It’s sprained,” he said. Even though he’s a math teacher, he can still tell when someone is injured.
Mr. Min ran in and saw that I was crying. “What did you do to him?” he asked in an upset voice.
“Nothing,” he answered. They kept at a distance, but they stared emotionlessly at each other.
I didn’t know what was going on between the two of them, but I felt even worst then before. Things started to get dark again and I blacked out for the second time today.
