Second entry for `Tajii-chan Color vs B/W contest.I love how fishes stand out by their colours, and I imagine mermaids being the same.
All the mermaids exist of the same base, but they all have unique colourful fins
This drawing is one of those beautiful outstanding colourful mermaids!

I'm doing just fine, my studies are getting at an end.. still some exams to go, presenting and getting interviewed about my final paper and then I'm done.

Another beautiful entry
I know I always say this, but the concept behind your entries are so thoughtful. Even this one, which is more so about aesthetic appearances is very clever. The drawing itself is very pretty; I love the soft shading and beautiful toning. The mermaid looks really elegant, and I love the way you have her posed. And her tail? Her tail is so, so gorgeous ;A; There's something about the small patches of color on the fin that serve to really brighten it up. The scales are intricate and well shaded, but the colors on the fins really bring out the beauty of it. And that's once again reflected very well in your concept, which focuses on the beauty and uniqueness of a fish's scales. I love how you used color to describe that differentiation. The butterfly like bra is very pretty, and the very subtle toning in the hair is really pretty. The background, albeit really light suits the artwork because of its simplicity. It really adds to that nice emphasis on the color. Plus, the texture brings out the colors as well
