the one thing i consitantly CAN'T WRAP MY BRAIN AROUND is picking colors. especially flesh tones. in know painter IX comes w/ a flesh tones palette, but i don't like it that much, and so here's one i made from this photoshop swatch file . just save it to your corel painter directory where it says "color sets" and enjoy!also, holy batman, am i really the first ever submission to the corel painter IX resources gallery? something's wrong here people! get going!
[ after dA changed the format of their links (yes, i know, like a year ago or something...) the link above no longer works. since i'm obviously a little dense, i failed completely to fav the thing, and i can't find it again. dA's search feature is a total fail in this endeavour, and even google wasn't much help. so, all you lovelies out there, if you find it, let me know, i'd like to give some credit. ]

You cannot copy the colors to manga studio?
I had 3 but I do not remember if it could copy colors. I know art rage does.

gosh, thanks, this is a life saver. I always pick gross looking skin tones but this has some pretty snazzy kinds, even for dead people. Tehe.

yeah sure. use it however you want, just don't take credit for it. (frankly, it's just my re-purposing of some already available color swatches anyway, so credit goes to the original creators to begin with. ^^ ) thanks for being all polite and asking~ (^_^)

does this work with essentials? i just got a Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet and it came with Corel Painter 4 Essentials will it work?

i don't know if it will or not, i haven't tested it w/ essentials, as i don't own a copy of it. i would say, if essentials can open palette files, than you should be fine.
