they're releasing a 3d-camera??

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

lycraboy In reply to yatu-ex [2009-08-30 19:02:45 +0000 UTC]

Yes. It also does video.
Your able to shoot video with one side and take a still frame with the other side if you wish.
Its around $600-$800 Canadian.
Fuji has since invented a 3D monitor where your able to view your images in 3d with out glasses. Very cool stuff.
Your also able to email your files to Japan and have them print them on sublimation develops for printed 3D images.
I can't wait!
Our supplier in Vancouver already has one on order for us.

that sounds pretty nice - but like nothing that i could afford i think i'll stick to the good old one-camera-method then

I've tried a couple the way you do it.
Only problem is that no one likes to do the process after I develop the image. Most people complain that it gives them a headache.
Ill try out the new fuji before I decide to purchase it. In case its not worth the money.

That trick doesn't work for me... but the shots are still beautiful.

*wishes he was on the mountain top rather than in an office*

what a pity shaun - the pics would look so much more "real" - but thank you for liking it i try to submit more pictures the following days, so you're not feeling like being in an office all the time, okay ?

This has an amazing amount of depth. Fantastic. I hope one day I can take photographs like this, but I don't think I could ever reach your quality.

don't say that, it's really not that difficult ! thanks for your nice comment man! have you ever tried that stereo-thing on your pictures?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CaliferDean In reply to yatu-ex [2009-08-30 11:38:04 +0000 UTC]

I have! One of my first cameras actually had a 3D function, where I could compare the images. But mate - you make each image look amazing.

Do you have an MSN?

yatu-ex In reply to CaliferDean [2009-08-30 13:44:07 +0000 UTC]

have you got any stereos in your gallery?? i found none :/ most of my images look like that because of photoshop ^^ that's most of the magic i guess, until i get a better camera that is... my current one's just crap i'm neither on msn, aim or icq

CaliferDean In reply to yatu-ex [2009-08-30 13:58:47 +0000 UTC]

Ah... no worries. No - I have never submitted a stero graphic. Thank you for looking through my gallery Meh - photoshop? You needed SOMETHING to photoshop.

thanks for commenting, 3d-fellow i'm glad you like it! (even though it could have been a bit more 3d i think - what a mess that there wasn't enough space for a wider base )
