Description
I created this costume based on the collectible figure of Super Sonico! I absolutely loved the blue/pink color combination, and the design of the uniform dress. Just look at it, so kawaii!The dress, belt and nurse hat are made from scratch, by me! I used a synthetic for the dress, and a cotton for the lining, as well as contrasting white pleather for all the trimming. The headphones were a lucky find on eBay, and my wig was sponsored by Purple Plum Inc. This also marks the first time I went shopping for lingerie items (garter belt and thigh highs) on Amazon O_o - very prompt shipping lol!
I recently got to do a photoshoot as Sonico with the incredibly talented Allison of Pixelette Photography ! This is the first release image from the shoot! It is also available as a signed 8x12 glossy photo print!

Cool. I find it interesting that characters like Sonico and Miku Hatsune, who are fictional characters to the characters within their respective anime, seem to have more of a following than the main characters of the anime they inhabit.

You're clearly an amazing fabricator! But I would suggest padding the hips with this- like you do with the Jessica Rabbit dress- just because Sonico is a lot curvier. I'd also go for shyer faces. My cosplay is a billion more shit than anything you could even accidentally make... So don't think I am trying to say you're not great. (also I assume you'll never read this.) I just feel that you are capable of tweaking the little things about this cosplay that make Sonico something other than a typical anime girl.
