It was a sad but beautiful scene. Twilight still considering him a friend even after his betrayal. She obviously saw the good in him and wouldn't give up!

Poor Discord! That was a very touching scene! I'm glad that Discord changed as soon he realized the mistake he made.

This was probably one of the most intense and revealing scenes in the show. It was a perfect example of the changes Discord has gone through, and that is probably by his solemn silence. The Discord we met at first in this situation would be screaming in rage, begging or maybe even joking. However, here we saw him without proffering the slightest objection, proving that he had accepted his fate and resigned to die alone because that is what he thought he deserved for his betrayal. In that moment the child that Discord is suddenly matured.

I loved that scene too. I think this makes Discord more reformed than he was before... it was not only Twi that learned something, Discord did too, and very much so. We saw a new side of him, guilt, regret, sadness. I have come to like him more than I did before.

that scene was heart warming because Twilight wanted to help Discord too and I felt bad for Discord when he realized he got tricked and he realized his mistake I love that scene
