Thank YOU! So many people on deviantART have the technical skill, but very few have the eye for composition. I'm not as good as you, (yet), but I look up to the artists that create the concepts for games like Assassin's Creed and God of War. Those guys are true masters. You reminded me of them because you have a great sense of balance in your work. This piece is so well balanced, and the concept is very attention grabbing!
I'm surprised this piece doesn't have more attention!

oh thank you, yea i think its about the kind of reference you use, i looked at alot of leyendecker for this one and theres infinite things to draw upon in his compositions, I really recommend looking at his work, and theres a bunch of other similar illustrators from that era. thanks again

What about a tutorial? That would be awesome.
Specifically- skin tone/texture, maybe the painting process in general, perhaps a short one on character design.
