I love this because I've had the same conversation. Except it wasn't a Nintendo game.
Also, I don't understand where the idea that Fi doesn't have arms, comes from?
In the concept drawings, Fi's arms and hands are within her sleeves.

As for the arms thing, i do it for a few reasons. Cause concept art isn't final art, and in the final games she doesn't have them, or at the very least Ive never seen them. But also because it think representation of characters with disability is really low, so I think its nice to imagine Fi without arms without it being the joke, you know? But mostly I do it cause i want to ^^

Yeah, I totally love Fi. I'm not complaining, just wanted to know why people drew her without them.
But it is awesome, I love the ideas that come with it and many people have created great background stories because of it.
The game was Tekken 6, he said he has a dream or deja vu about playing this match and he was referring to a match we played it an hour before.
Then again, he said he had a dream about it 2 days later.
