I love how original that is and the coloring is well done, can I ask which brand of colors do u use?

I gotta say Iβve never seen a creature like this before. Very original and interesting β I could easily imagine this as a tattoo or a logo design. The anatomy of the skulls is spot on and I love the fluid motion you have in this picture β the tentacles look alive!
Style wise β this is a solid great piece of combining different mediums. I canβt tell where the traditional and digital meet and thatβs a huge asset! The contrast between soft shading and vivid line art is just right.
You said youβve been improving your shading lately and I can definitely see that. The shadow placing is excellent and the shading itself is nicely vivid yet not too colorful or dark. The contrast between different colors works very nicely yet this image has a solid, harmonic and well thought of color palette. I love your subtle highlights, but perhaps the only nitpick I can come up with is that there could be some more brightly highlighted areas (in addition of the eyes). Perhaps a little tweak here and there to really bring something up β e.g the teeth of the skulls.
I say this is also a great example of how to photograph and present a traditional piece where you want to show the sketchbook too. Great work!

Thank you kindly for the comment!
I see what you mean about highlighting some elements. That's a nice suggestion. ^_^
The process was to take a snap of the inked lineart and then to colour it entirely in photoshop.
Alas, whilst I don't have any lighting set up, levels and contrast in PS do a good job. Ideally, I'd have liked to scan all of the art first, but that's not an option atm.
Thanks!

Top quality eldritch horror there, Yel. With a dash of cuteness to it.
I know what my nightmares are gonna look like for awhile!
