Description
This is Dejah Thoris from the movie John Carter.She is performed by the wonderful actress Lynn Collins. I think she fits the role perfectly.
I loved the movie and I love the books of Edgar Rice Burroughs.
This drawing took me about 4 days. I am quite happy with the outcoming of her hair although it made me mad at drawing.
It is again a crappy photo sorry.
Size: A3
Material: 8B, 6B, 4B, 2B, B, HB, F an 2H pencils + eraser
(done on pale beige paper)

I remember when I first heard that she was going to play Dejah. I thought she would fit the role perfectly because she looks like I had imagined dejah to look and act like when I first read the books. And indeed she did an excellent job.

Yes bad marketing and I think it was the hype of the Hunger Games that led to less success of John Carter.
At least that was the reason in germany :/

Ah. Yeah. what they should have done was say something like From the author of Tarzan and the director of Finding Nemo and WALL-E. I mean boom, that would have attracted quite a few people right there.
