I decided to make a character sheet and a profile for David James, my manself. :3

I love him, and he's fun to roleplay with.

I kinda drew his head too big, mebbe? Or his neck is too skinny, IDK.

Appearance: David is short, and rather young looking (people tend to think he’s between fifteen and sixteen). His hair is naturally a medium brown, and in certain lights it looks auburn. He tends to dye it black or dark brown, with the occasional blonde or bright colored highlights. It’s grown to just to his chin, and cut in a slightly emo-way. His skin is a more olive-skin tone, though pale, and his eyes are almond shaped and more of a hazel, with mostly green, but sometimes blue flecks. He’s got rather small hands, and he was unfortunately cursed with a very long torso, and short legs, but this allows him to skillfully lick his elbows.
He also wears contacts most of the time, because he’s really blind and hates wearing his glasses.
Because of self-inflicted mutilation, David always wears fingerless gloves, and wrist warmers to hide the cuts.
Makeup – David usually only wears eye makeup, and it depends on his mood. Usually, it’s just black eyeliner, sometimes more.
Style – David’s style is pretty much the typical emo look. Hoodies of various colors and fashions, band shirts or fashion T’s, colorful belts, skinny jeans (sometimes loose comfortable jeans depending on what he’s doing), Van’s, Converse, or barefoot.
On occasion, David can be found wearing a hoodie about two sizes too big, and sweat pants, when he wants to be comfortable or is cold.
Tattoos – A Celtic star between his shoulder blades, a butterfly on his left ankle, a moon on his right thigh, a mended heart on his right back-hip, and a peacock on his left side.
Piercing – His ears and his bellybutton
Other jewelry – Necklaces, chokers, chains, collars, wrist warmers, gloves, lots of scarves.

Personality: David’s personality is, how should we say, rather complex. Normally, David is a really great guy. He’s nice, he loves his friends, he gets hyper and can easily make people laugh (or scare them off). He’s easy to get along with, he can be a little judgmental at first but takes time to get to know people. But David also upsets very easily, and is hurting a good deal of the time, it’s just easy for him to forget about it when things seem like they may be ok. He tends to feel very lost and lonely, and frequently wonders if people care at all about him. He gets anxious easy, and his mental breakdowns usually only end when he’s the lowest he can get. He tends to rely on people and things more than he should, like alcohol and friends, but he usually is just let down in the end. He’s suicidal, and depressed, and on medication.
David’s not a prude, though he doesn’t believe in having sex with just anyone. He likes sex being special, even if it does make him a bit of an idealist. He’s a romantic more than anything. Though, on occasion, when he’s hyper or drunk enough, he’s been known to do some pretty odd things that he normally would never do, such as sexual favors or if he's drunk and depressed enough, sex.

Likes and Dislikes: David likes swimming and diving, reading and writing, drawing, some anime some manga, Adult Swim. He loves most food, Mexican, Italian, Chinese, he loves cheeseburgers and steak, Peach Gummi Rings, Gummibears, strawberry Crème Savers, and Snickers bars. He loves cookies and brownies, the Daily Show, silly cartoons and stupid movies like Jackass and Anchorman. He loves dogs, and animals, but especially dogs. He likes boys And he strangely likes hockey, but only for the redwings. He likes storms, lakes, camping and nature, trampolines, flowers (he’s an occasional gardener with his mom) and various games (video games, rpg games, board games, trivia games). He likes history, and riding his bike, and he loves music; he’ll listen to just about anything.
He doesn’t like tomatoes, some fish, shrimp, lima beans, bigots, math, and stupid people. He also doesn’t like it when he feels left out, or that people are purposefully rubbing things in his face. He doesn’t like it when he’s lied to, or cheaters. He doesn’t like one night stands. He really doesn’t like the way he can be at times, he hates it when he drinks or hurts himself.
He also likes to freak people out by licking his elbows, or folding each finger over the back of one another and leaving them like that. He folds his pinkies over the back of the ring fingers, then the ring fingers over the back of his middle, then the middle over the indexes, and he does them on both hands simultaneously.
He loves to wear gloves and scarves, but the thing is that especially with gloves, his hands get sweaty very easily, even when he’s not wearing them. He says he suffers from sweaty-palm syndrome. Though his palms easily get sweaty, they’re also cold a good deal of the time. Usually, his palms or sweaty, or his hands are very cold.
He also hates how he sometimes laughs so hard he snorts, or he makes a, “kekeke” sounds.
The last thing David loves is his baby blanket, bibber. He loves the thing to death, even though it’s falling apart, and he’s had to replace is multiple times during his life, though his still has the original. He still sleeps with it, and obsessively is smelling it, because he likes how it smells.

History: David’s childhood was normal, and good. He was born the youngest in his family. He was a happy kid, playing with the neighborhood children, going to school. He broke his arm when he was six, playing with a neighbor boy, he got a dog around the same age, a loyal and sweet Labrador Retriever named Fang. He got along as well as he could with his brother and sister, though as they grew older, they grew to like each other more. Around the time David was eleven, he realized things weren't quite right with him. He joined the Swimming and Diving team, and after a few years realized he was gay. He kept it a secret until high school, and only then came out to his mother, and a few close friends, including his sister. He couldn’t tell his father or brother, because there was no way either of them would accept him.
When he was fifteen, he was growing more into himself, and becoming somewhat comfortable with his identity, and started dating one of the Seniors on his swimming team. This relationship was mostly secret, and David was naïve enough to knowingly let the older boy cheat on him with college guys. David only allowed it to happen because the older boy claimed he “loved” only him, and David stupidly loved the guy. When it grew to hurt too much, the relationship ended, and David started dating a friend who went to the other town High School, Peter. This relationship was seemingly perfect, and David was falling in love. This guy was there to always bring David up before he got too down, he made things better, and it was a dream high school relationship.
Things became a bit much for David when June came along; before school was even out, his Great Grandmother died, Fang was put down, and on that same day, and old friend committed suicide. He was devastated, but luckily had Peter there to pick him up. Time went on, Junior year came in passed, the only major events being that his family bought a cabin on the lake, and David was able to get a Chow/German Shepherd puppy he named Teddy. He had ups and downs with his best friend, occasional melt downs, but Peter was always there for him. Sadly, graduation came around, and they both decided to end things because they were both going to different school and longs distance was too hard. David’s family moved away to crappy Iowa, while he stayed in town and went to community college, living with a friend and Teddy, and worked to help pay for the apartment. As luck would have it, one of David’s professors was able to get him a summer internship at a Graphic Design firm in Chicago, so for a summer he went, taking Teddy along, getting an apartment with a roommate, getting a job to help pay for rent and food. As it turned out, the firm hired him on full time. David kept the roommate to make life easier. He works most of the year, taking time off to travel and visit friends, even though he’s still having a hard time adjusting. He gets frequent bouts of depression, feeling alone, and very friendless, because most of his only contacts with people he likes is through the internet, and most of his old friends don’t bother with him anymore.
His family also has a strange past. His grandfather on his mother’s side, who died when he was very young, had questionable morals, and he may have been involved in forms of emotional abuse despite the fact that he was a very prominent psychologist in the area. David’s also very touchy about his Grandmother who died on his father’s side seven years before he was born from jacob creutzfeldt disease. Because of her condition, no one on that side of the family is allowed to donate blood. He wishes he got to knew her, and has a strange feeling that she would accept him as a person.
