Antique floral greetings post cardCirca 1907
Postmark Avon IL
Heavily embossed cards with colors airbrushed by hand were popular sellers
during the early years of the post card craze. This one is very thick, about 2 mm and
has a backing layer (which needed to be re-glued upon arriving on my desk).
Dated November 8th, 1907, the message is short and weet :
Hattie and Ferris
May all your years be spent in bliss and all your plans succeed.
