Very clean and smooth. Surprisingly catchy considering the simplicity of the elements. For some reason I would prefer the left side of the straight line part to be somehow higher - maybe on the same level than the part on the right where the line goes out from the image.
I like this design, it would make an interesting and different logo for a company

I guess the contrasted colours make it catchy
At first it was drawn from a real-life object... a weird stuff... to settle wine or something (I have no idea).
But, and maybe it sounds strange, I think the kind of asymmetry (the left end being lower than the right end) makes it more balanced.. otherwise it would feel.. squeezed or something
