So, this is a realistic picture of Vaarsuvius from the Order of the Stick comic that I love to read! S/he is an elf of unknown gender... though I just happened to make it look more like a guy. It's in coloured pencils and well, I'm kind a proud of it!Related content

If what I heard is true, Rich Burlew only decided to give V all the unknow gender stuff because a few fan kept asking him what V's gender was during the earlier strips.

Yes, I think it was something like that. I know he had intended to give V a gender, but decided to not let us know until later. So... someday, we will know!

Very, very nice. Of all the OotS characters, V is definitely my favorite. I love looking at all the OotS art here on DA, and V is probably one of the most popular characters to draw. Great job. Now if only Rich Burlew would update more frequently...

I know! I seriously check every hour or so to see if he updates! V is so psycho now, which is awesome! I'm definitely going to have to add Psycho V to the series of counted cross stitch OotS characters I'm working on.

*lol* I have had a long time of Oots absence, but I'm getting to it. I check it every other day now again and that's good. It's like, I've rediscovered Oots somehow (about two months ago). I used to check for updates every day the first two years or so, then I lost it a bit when Rich stopped to update regularly for a long time. It's great to be newly obsessed again!

I don't have the books but my dad borrowed the first two from a friend and then let my brother and I borrow them from him. So I've read the first two of the books. I even brought them to my friend's Halloween party and got her stuck on them too!
