Description
What? Mudkip from Pokemon.Details: ~4cm tall. Sculpted with polymer clay, painted with acrylics and glazed.
My Comments:
One of my favourite starters! Ruby was actually the first GBA game I ever played, and it was actually the only one I owned.. that's pretty sad, haha. But at least my only game was a Pokemon one! I ended up clocking over 200 hours on it.. heh..
I really love how Mudkip turned out! I made him to scale with my sculpt of myself, he's another one of the Pokemon I made for my Walking Pokemon idea.

How did you get the colors so accurate? Mine came out...weird [link] you cant see it well, but the color is a very dark blue/violet
And the first pokemon game I ever had was Sapphire xD The very first pokemon I ever got to level 100 was a mudkip...well swampert xD

Hmm, I guess you just need to be able to mix the right colours? ^_^ Sometimes the paint dries and different shade to what you paint as well, which can be a pain.. >_<

Well I found it was a pain (for me anyways) when I would use the colored clays and no matter how clean I kept my hands the colors always mixed and looked messy. Then I hand painted them, but found that running to the store every 5 seconds getting the right colors were costly. I'm one of those people where one day I'm painting something blue, but then I'm like, nah lets go with neon yellow. XD

Ahh, yeah, I get what you mean! I hate coloured clay (and it hates me).. luckily when I started off I just bought some of the acrylic paint sets that have a ton of colours in them.. now I just buy more colours if I need them.. I'm going to shop in a few hours to get some more black and blue paint, haha.

That's a good idea. Which kit has the most polemon colors do you think? My mom is more about buying expensive bulk than single XD

Umm, I just picked a set that has like 10+ colours in it. The tubes are small, like only 12mL each, but from there you can just mix your own colours.
