Oh my, thank you so much! ;3;
I think that grey is a colour that is not to dark and not to light, it flatters most colours.
This dress is one of my favourites! I wish I could sow, I would totaly try and make it! *3*
Details is something I need to practise ^^ Either I do way to much details or not even a single one. It is difficult to find a good balance. <3

It's also neutral : ) (grey) I think it's ideal way to present designs.
Ahh true true balance of details are a really difficult task!! Close to contrast problem... like where to put none details, where to put a lot of them... and stuff :'o
yeah
and my pleasure!!

It's really good! The kind of thing I can picture appearing in like an Anime or a Sci-Fi/Fantasy genre.

That is one of the nicest things I've ever heard about one of my outfit designs!
You really make my day! <3

Your joking! This is great work!
If I may ask, what was your design process? I read the description, but I'm also curious as to how you start off with drawing clothes.
I'm used to doing rather abstract armors, and am actually very curious as to learning to design stuff like dresses and such for my female characters.

Oh my, do I even have a design process...? X'D
At first I try to sort the information provided to me/ the ideas I have in my head.
The most important information was the lenght of the dress. It will set how big the workspace is you are designing the outfit on.
After that I will go crazy on the informations I have.
She had the specific wish for a collar, so I started with it. I just sketched a simple collar.
At next the layered skirt.
I considered her wish for lace and other cute things, so I made the skirt out of frills.
Now I tried to connect the skirt with the collar.
I just thought about what would look the best and tried out some things.
Added some flowers etc...
That's basically it.^^
Of course, one big point you have to know about is the character you want to design an outfit for.
Wouldn't it be sad if you'd design a beautiful cute dress made out of lace but your character would never wear it because it only likes big oversized jumpers with skulls on it?
Try to empathise with your character!
Also it is always a good idea to look at photos. Google can give you a lot of good ideas!
I hope I could help!
