Shield should be taller but slimmer. Desert people are prone to present less of a profile by standing sideways on, contrary to Europeans who prefer a more frontal-based stance. Henceforth the shields don't need to cover the width of the body, but rather only the depth of the body.
Really liking the other two drawings. She really is a hottie....

These are some amazing drawings and I reall like both the desert and modern styles for her armor. I kind of like the size of the shield as it isn't too large or small. Just about right.
