Entry for Resin-Aperture 's April 2015 Challenge - High Key . ^_^

Okay... so this was interesting. My first take on this was technically a high-key shot (that is, all the colors on the histogram are concentrated on the high-end):

But something doesn't feel right with my full-front key light and halo backlight set up. I then realized, there's not enough fill light! Even when overexposed, there is still too much play of light & shadow on the subject giving sharp contrast to the features despite the elimination of blacks in the picture. What I need is some honest good fill lighting to wash out the dark areas.

So I turned on all the lights in my room, moved my key light a bit and got this as final result. It has much less shadows than the first one, but since I no longer have to overexpose so much, I was still able to retain the subject's features. ^_^

So what do you think? Challenge success?
