8 solid hours, didn’t stop once…. Ok, ok it was inevitable that I would need to drink something, and that, that would lead me to the John
boredom over took me, so I started drawing and drawing and just for fun drew some more, decided to jump on the bandwagon and also draw a Friesian…LOL, then I decided I was not going to blend anything so it was Hi TECH mechanical pencil colouring, with a 2B
ta-dah Friesian for hmmmmm let me see…. Everyone that watches me, to say fanks for all de favz and nice comments
This is 1 of 2, the other Friesian, is so Purdy make me all green with envy!

Part of it is very realistic yet part of it isn't at all: and I love that! Great drawing, very carefree mood. A little sharp with edges but I don't mind that at all. Very nicely done.

legs are a bit skinny but who cares! not every fresian has perfect conformation and this is gorgeous! beautiful coat/mane/tail!
shading black horses is a scary thought for me...

It's a bit too 'pointy' for my liking (know what I mean), but you are really getting down the light/dark contrast. I think that is what makes me like this picture, and what makes it more realistic. Keep up!

i agree with ~alexandrabirchmore though about the legs that are a bit thicker than usual... but i do love draft horses too so this drawing is kinda like a combination of what i like
