Lovely details especially the little swirls at the top right that reminds me of a Batik pattern but yet it is not. I see that the light background works wonderfully well here and the difference between the sun and the moon is soothing to me.
I just love the detail you made for the duck head^^

Thank you a lot! It helps me very much to hear which details you have found interesting, at first I thought to draw the top corner silvery, but when I started to make it, it somehow didn't feel suitable for the picture and I decided to do a quick experiment with this pattern - so great to hear that it turned out well.

You make the right choice, think it will look odd if you make it silvery at the top there, then it might distract the viewer from the sun and the moon, between day and night.It does turns out well, the painting easily catches my attention Love the swirly patterns you made there.

Thank you very much for the feedback! You're right - the bright corner would make the sun and the moon look more dull. I'm glad you liked the pattern, I'll certainly use it again in some of the next drawings!

I agree that it'll affect the sun and the moon there. To me , this painting already do pops out.
