Yes, I love alot of metal, Tarja is my favorite singer for sure! soo many great metal bands get over looked in the mainstream. Some of my fav's are Nightwish (only with Tarja), Dimmu, Opeth, Behemoth (they are awesome, so epic!), Cradle of Filth, old mans child, children of bobom, Graveworm, epica, revamped and so many more I am too tired to think about. I also love other music too, just not as much!

awwwwww thanks sweety! Tarja is a Goddess! I love metal, and of course other types of music, but mainly that. some other bands I LOVE are deathstars, Marilyn Manson, She Wants Revenge, Blaqk Audio, Diary of Dreams, Evanescence, Tears for Fears, David Bowie and more other ones too, but you get the idea, I like the alternative stuff to the everyday mundane pop crap.

BUT I hate Evanescence 
(It doesn't change the fact that I think that you're awesome of course 
But I just don't like them and any other pop bands that claim they are

lol, well I guess not everyone likes everything some one else will, we have many of the same music tastes, it is nice too see, and I cannot stand Annette either, she is awful in Nightwish, now in a rock type band I feel she would fit better. To me Evanescence is more a rock type band, not really pop. I see pop more like britney spears and jessica simpson, that bubble gum garbage.

well, the heavier the better. also sometimes I like to calm down with Apocalyptica Megadeth, Sonata Arctica and Dragonforce.
my top faves are Ensiferum, lamb of god, Behemoth and Megadeth. yours?

Like you I also have a special ear for Power metal and classic metal.
But there are just too many groups that I adore, it's very hard to summer them all into a top five,
but here are some of my most favorites of all times:
Megadeth, Iron maiden, Nightwish, Haggard, Hollenthon, Blind Guardian, Betzefer (Yay Israel!!), Therion, Cradle of Filth, My Dying Bride, Theatre of Tragedy, Dragon Force, Estatic Fear and many more...

One of my best friends (A famous sculpture from our country), is a very good friend with the singer and the lead guitar player,
aside from that my soon to become wife is friend with their drummer, so yes, I did meet them in person a few times and their are very nice people (Not to mention a brilliant band)

they took two completely different genres, metal and the middle eastern singing and mixed it up... usually I hate middle eastern and pop and so on... but... I should shut up before I embarrass myself even more.

They have a unique style indeed, and they sure give a lot of honor to Israel too
You're not embarrassing yourself, and you'd be even more surprised of how many cool Israeli bands I know in person lol But it's not really fair, most of them are around my age or older then me in ten years or so (The age differences change after the army, and you can barely notice anymore things like she's older than me or he's younger than me) with some I even grew up

well, who knows, maybe I know a future band now.
army does change people. but some say I'm already act as if I was in the army and did my time. I want to join the Karakal, but it remains a dream.
who knows, maybe one day my friends will pull it off, the guitarist, the drummer, and the unknown guitarist or what ever he is. maybe I will join 'em as a band member on the guitar or as the singer. I studied vocal pedagogy for three years, and for now, I am doing really well on the guitar for someone that plays for a month and a half.

You'd be amazed after the years will pass by how the coolest kids in your class will become nothing but ash and the kids that no one really noticed them before will become really famous or super talented in their own way... It's quite funny actually
