I like how you placed the shadows on his clothes, and that they are so dark. The hair turned out nicely, but the tears look strange. Maybe you should not have given them so strong contours. Otherwise, it's really good.

There is no link to the original drawing, so how should I know? I thought your friend made the outlines only, shadows are a part of the coloration for mer :/.
