So here is =SerpentScorch 's WAAAAAAAY overdue prize for catching my kiriban back in January! This baby commemorates my first successful effort to complete a lineless digital painting. Unfortunately, I lost my motivation for finishing it back in February, and I hadn't touched it again until today. I was so close to finishing it, but something threw me off balance. (It was probably the fact that I had few hours of free time and the overall suckage of high school after receiving my acceptance letter. Ugh.) BUT I felt inspired to finally wrap it up after I finished my piece for *Dyndase 's contest, and I did so tonight.

It's interesting that it was much easier for me to finish the scales on the tail than the ones on the neck--I used a bigger brush and was looser with my shading, and it took ten minutes instead of two hours! More importantly, I realized that my paintings don't have to look 100% fantastic at their full sizes because the size I'll be displaying them at is much, much smaller. It'll make my life much easier in the future. C:
