Finally.... Peach steps it up and gives Mario a kiss on the lips, rather than on the nose, or cheek............................................ or hat. :v
After all the work Mario has to go through, and all she can do is kiss his HAT!?! Geez..... that'd be the last time I'd save her. :v (Then again, Mario's just a general good guy, so he doesn't do it for kisses, or cakes. :m)

I never really liked game theory. I know its for fun and all, but most people are taking his view and theories on Mario too literally, and most of the time Matthew does contradict himself.

I know what you mean. I just wish fans will actually learn their Mario facts from the games and stop following the words of popular interner-celebrities like sheeple.

Yeah, he seems to favor to theorized and make a lot of assumptions about the Mario characters and their world than anything else. I can understand, Mario can be complicated with its lore, but its not hard to understand if you pay attention and learn from certain Mario games on what little backstory and plot it provides.
A lot of people, fans alike, think it hards to understand Mario, but its not. Let's be thankful that there are actually more folks on the internet that have common sense to not take Matthews theories as fact and its mostly for fun, and those who do try to deem it as fact are very likely to be told otherwise.

I'm a bit late, but thanks. :n Yeah, I don't think it's just because they're friends(with benefits. :b)... but more the fact of Mario trying to restore peace to the part of the world he lives in. I doubt he'd just sit back, and allow Bowser to become King of the Mushroom Kingdom.
I think he wouldn't care as much if he still lived in Brooklyn, like in the old 80's cartoon. :b
