This poem gave me liberation from the feeling I couldn't find my own words to. Thank you. I often feel like I'm banging my knuckles raw searching inside myself for those once-plentiful words. They're good at sticking to the corners.
Either way, this accomplishes what few pieces about the lack of creativity/words can, in my opinion. It has flow. It has creativity. It's a beautiful fragment of expression, simple and powerful. That, I think, is an accomplishment.

Damn, it's been awhile since we got some new Shane. I like how circular the piece is, you can really start reading it from any of the stanzas then start back at the beginning and it works.
It also could be read as an explanation for 2 years of no material; I don't know if that was intentional or not but at any rate I want you to know that you still have people who appreciate your work and would like you to continue to release new poems if you can. Thank you.

I love the concept of this poem. I think relationships (platonic or romantic) can head this way, where you go from non-stop pouring your heart out to dried up conversations with someone you used to know. It's brilliant!
