I love that you’ve noticed this. Being trauma bonded with the man I married has fueled a lot of poetry between Shane and I—those desperate ones from me; unfaltering support and reminders from him. And, because I’ve never been someone who can just rip the bandaid off and have it be done, this is a conversation that’s been going on for a long time now. Both of our galleries are scattered with breadcrumbs.

cold concrete walls

love

I wish I could shower this comment with love. This is how human beings should treat each other, holding space and reminding each other that we are loved and valuable. ❤️ I process in a similar way, raw feelings poured out on a page. And if that is what helps you heal, don’t let anyone tell you to stop writing that way. ❤️❤️❤️

I was kind of relieved to break up with him lol. He was about as dramatic as a teenage girl on her period. And no, they don't. I feel the world would be so much more simpler if people would be kind to one another and just mind their own business lol
