Description
So this is Magic! The literal force of magic in the world of 'Magic and Mayhem' ... who is literally just my sona.
I may have gone just a bit wild with her colors.  Didn't mean to, it just kinda happened. Definitely going to regret that later when I have to draw her again.

But galaxy hands though-

Some explanation!

So CalciumSkyDaddy and I have a world of characters ('Magic and Mayhem', found here and here ). And I got the random idea to make the main 'cosmic entities' in this world (since we know I have to make cosmic entities, it's kinda the law ) two characters known as 'Magic' and 'Mayhem', respectively.

And then I thought "well what if I make Rin one of them, with all her author powers and suchlike?" And then: "Well which one would she be? And that wouldn't work, anyway, there's two of them and wait a minute this has two authors yes-"

So I asked CalciumSkyDaddy if I could make one of them her sona as well, she said yes, and ta-da!!  Meet Magic and Mayhem .

Obviously there's not much 'canon' yet, (and subject to change based on any thoughts/ideas from CalciumSkyDaddy ) but the basic ideas I had were this:

Magic is the source of all magical energy in this world, cosmically powerful, has the whole 'reality-bending-to-her-will' author powers and such but blah blah blah she couldn't care less because she's busy eating popcorn with Mayhem while the two watch everyone in this universe interact and ship them with reckless abandon. Magic will often interact directly with the various people in this universe as a 'traveler'; a normal, everyday citizen who doesn't display absurd cosmic powers, solely because they could make life really boring. Instead, she spends her time watching the everyday chaos happen, and often participating in it in a more 'normal' fashion.

That said, she has a weakness for using her cosmic powers if she thinks it would be funny. Any people in this universe who know of her existence might think of her as a calm, serious being; with all the power she wields, surely she must bear the great responsibility that comes with it, and must carry on her stoic duties as such...

But no. Absolutely not. Magic is here to see what happens when you introduce random elements into people's lives, and she's not above using those abilities of magic to do so. And though she'll never interfere with people's thoughts/emotions directly, she's definitely not above engineering situations where her various ships are stuck in a room together, or have to deal with one nonsense trope or another.

As for her friendship with Mayhem; most of those who are aware of their existence automatically assume that Magic and Mayhem are constantly at odds. Magic is a source of self-expression in this world, and thus a lot of people associate its raw energy (it's 'natural state') with self-acceptance; and thus, to a degree, with 'peace'. The automatic thought is that she and Mayhem must fight constantly over the balance of the world; but that's not how this world works. The balance is maintained by their friendship as opposed to their fighting. After all, Magic is prone to causing quite a bit of mayhem, and Mayhem is quite powerful with her own magic. They are the balance just by existing; so the two don't even have to be that consciously concerned with maintaining it. They just sort of do their own thing and the universe balances itself out.

And with them, 'doing their own thing' basically boils down to general shenanigans. These two end up doing just a lot of general nonsense.
