"I am a king in disguise, the king of demise.
Upon my throne of lies I antagonize
the thoughts of a sane man, the sandman and the same man
who granted his own wish to stay alive.

It's a thought and a scene, it's all right it's only a dream
where everything seems to constantly bleed.
It's generic.
We're all iconic,
her painted smile is so euphoric
it's sad and ironic.

While watching the king's crown begin to fall down
without a single sound,
I think it's too late.
My kingdom can wait.
This castle inside me crumbles,
it seems so fake.
Is this really what it feels like
to be awake?

No. I can't call this my home,
it's only for show.
I know where I'm supposed to go,
it's right there.
Down the golden road, I stare,
