Yes! finally! well I had luffy a while ago. but I did not print it because I didn't like the old one. I just took out old paintings and basically repainted the whole thing beside face and left arm : PRelated content

Hmmm... now that I see him in this version.. he is missing his x shaped scar....
On the good side. he is cuter in real life.

I got rid of x mark on purpose in the piece. because scar was distracting the shape of his body. but yeah actually quite a lot of people pointed out about that back in Anime expo last year.Β

Didn't he get the scar when akainu was trying to kill luffy after he had killed ace.

I thought he was protected by a lot of allies such as Jinbei, Crocodile, buggy, and... yeah.. ace.Β
so I figured the scar would be from training withΒ rayleigh.

he gets the scar most def from Akainu after he kills Ace then tries to kill luffy. i love this image totally fave.

Most realistic renderings of Luffy tend to be disappointing to me, but I absolutely LOVE how you drew him!! I can actually imagine him looking like this!
Overall, great pose, coloring and expression.
I just feel the need to say that you forgot his chest scar... in case you wanna add it!!

Yeah! I feel the same way! I actually tried to render it as real as possible in the beginning as I repaint ( I was going to repaint the whole face) However, it was like someone who isn't Luffy wearing his costume and his pose.
oh yeah.... I totally forgot about that scar.. lol and printed without it. Β
