It was supposed to be done for Valentine's day... Well guess I'm really late...I've done the background with Gimp since I wanted something different than my habitual white one. I kind of like the result...

I have a question. Well... It's more like an inquiry per se. On the Hetalia Archives site, it's says France is supposed to be afraid of computers. That just odd. French people aren't afraid of computers, are they? I mean, that's ridiculous.

Yeah, I was gonna say, only old people have cyber- and technophobia. I mean, France is pretty old, but not that old like, say, China who has thousands and thousands of years.
Funny thing I also found out about the character France is that he'd been growing that tiny bit of stubble for two hundred years just so that he'd look like a "big brother". (It probably took him so long because manga often disallows body hair on yaoi characters.)

I think that in Hetalia, France is a country who doesn't like change... I see it like this, after all he fears computer and doesn't want to learn other language...

I agree with you about France though. He's probably not very interested in change. But the more I look up stuff about France, it seems your country is quite advanced, at least in equality and liberty. Also the health care was once recently rated best in the world.
It took France apparently 200 yrs to grow taht stubble but in one of the Halloween events he magically made it disappear for his Peter Pan costume and reappear just to bother England.

I find my country quite strange in my opinion... We often have strikes because the average French always want something else... Yeah, France is quite advanced in equality, liberty and health care but those cause a lot of economic problems and a lot of people take advantage of those... But the health care is really a great system but helps most of the people who live in France even if it is quite exploited...
How does it work in Canada?

I heard that about you guys striking a lot. Health care here is better than the States because anyone who walks in will be treated but the waiting is too long and a lot of undeserving get priority for certain things: during the H1N1 crisis, one of our NHL Hockey teams (Calgary I think) got to get their shots before everyone else. Oh yeah... We strike a lot but it is usually the same who are striking each time (generally employers of train or plane compagny and teachers when the law change).
And in France too there is undeserving who get priority (the singer Johnny Hallyday por exemple...) but it is not current cuz they prefer to go in private clinic.
