I just got my tablet back...so I wanted to do something for someone who's been through a lot lately and who is always there to save me from typos and gratuitous repetition, hehe C: <33 Thank you so much for everything, Xaishi !

I didn't really know how to approach the chromatic aberration on 898 but I'm honestly really happy with how this piece came out as a whole! I was inspired by the little scrap of text on their ref which mentioned that the tail should look like a wedding train...and I thought of that classic wedding pose, where the bride turns back to face the camera...except of course this time it's a terrifying esk >:33!! The "story" I had in mind was something like this: the viewer has been passing by this esk from behind...and then suddenly, though it should have no idea you're there, it turns and meets your gaze instantly and stops you in its track. I hope at least a little of that came across - I still struggle to draw quadrupeds head on or from the back tbh lmao
