I can't believe there's been an entire year of TWWM monthly prompts...I feel like TWWM has really pushed me to improve a lot - looking back at the first bg piece I did containing Cereus and this one, I'm really amazed at how far I've come. I wanted to get a chance to play with lighting and perspective a bit and I think this was a fun opportunity to do so. I was inspired by geological formations I've seen while out hiking with my mom. I thought Cereus would look right at home sungazing through an archway.
Anyway, this is for the July 2017 monthly prompt (!!!). Here's to another year of prompts!
