This looks absolutely stunning! The contrast between light and dark works really well and gives the image a magical feeling. The painting makes me wonder: what story is going on here? It certainly awakens imagination.
If there's one point that maybe could be improved upon, it's the rocks. Maybe I'm nitpicking now, but I feel that the rocks should be a bit sharper and detailed. They are a bit soft/smudged compared to the stairs. Adding some hard lines or cracks and rocky texture would help I think.
It is a tiny detail though. Overall, the painting is mesmerizing. The composition works really well. I keep looking at the vague silhouette in the distance and the stairs that lead to him/her. And then I notice the stars and clouds, which at first looks like a ceiling, but then, maybe it's the sky?
