It's really beautiful and intricate work. It looks like something I'd like to get into but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Out of curiosity. How did you make the holes in the stone without fracturing it?

Thank you.! And I bought it like that! I don't have equipment to drill and polish stones.

I like the asymmetrical look and the soft tones of the stone. The over all impression is very organic. Just my kind of thing.

Oh what beautiful wire-work! ^_^ You've got amazing fingers to keep the tension in the wire so well while wrapping. I love the copper tones against the soft blue of the agate - gorgeous!!

Ha! You should have seen my first attempt - it was so messy! This stone is really nice - in bright light it's blue and in shadow it looks perfectly black. It probably will look even better when the copper get older and cover with patine. I'm really glad you like it. I'm going to try hammering next time.

Lol well it was worth it, it looks really great! And seeing the patine come out will really add to the effect, copper is so much fun to work with that way because it just transforms. Hammering sounds like it's going to be really fascinating - I can't wait to see how you go with it!

Yeah! I can't wait for my hubby to make me something that I could use as an anvil!

Looks like you're picking it up quickly! I haven't really tried it yet (my innate lack of confidence showing, dammit).

I'm just a beginner but it's fun. I hope that in time I'll be able to make more complected pieces.

Pfft that looks pretty complex to me!  I've tried simpler stuff and it just never looks... smooth.

Coppery hands would be more accurate! Thanks!

What grade wire did you use? It looks very cool.

2 mm and 0,8 mm. My next goal is to try hammering.
Thank you, I'm glad you like it!
