R: How long is it going to be like that, Chief ? How many times you are going to put your life in danger without even thinking twice ?I see you as a hero, my sis see you the same way. I grew looking up at you, to become a hero just like you. But now I'm worried, because I might see my hero die because he didn't know when to stop fighting.
C: I see the way you feel miss Rose, but as a Spartan I can't leave the fight just like that. I have to keep fighting to keep you, your sister and the human race safe s long as I can breathe. It's the sole reason I am here, I apologize, but death is the only thing that will stop me.

Chief didn't choose to embark upon his path - indeed he was set on it by others - but having trod it so long and knowing it to be a worthy one he will not depart from it until he reaches it's end. Noticeably, while Ruby and Yang express concern with this, the fact of the matter is that they're still following in Chief's footsteps.Β
It's not all hopeless though. Chief said "death is the only thing that will stop me", but he didn't specifically said it had to be his death. Once the enemies of humanity are all dead then it will be time to hang up the Focus Rifle and retire.

Wait ruby is lecturing a spartan (a very badass and famous one for that matter) to take it easy when he's clearly had more experience than she lived her life. I find that hilarious nice try ruby but Chief will always be the badass killing anything that dares harm humanity

Oh god, are you serious? RUBY ROSE is telling Chief that he needs to take it easy, that he's the one getting too aggressive?
Ruby is the idiot who saw ancient Elder Grimm the size of buildings and said "Let's kill it." She had to be talked down by a teacher! She's so good at fighting that she got into a school EXCLUSIVELY for learning how to murder things TWO YEARS EARLY.
Her telling Chief to take it easy is like Worf telling the Arbiter to take it easy on the Honor thing.

I have played all Halo games from Combat Evolved to Spartan Strike; the only one I haven't played yet beign Halo 5. And I'm sure as hell I never have heard about an associate to Thel Vadam called 'Worf'.

OC? Uh... No. Worf is a character from Star Trek. I was offering the comparison between the Arbiter and Worf because both are honor-bound aliens driven by mistakes and dishonor suffered in the past who work past it.
The reason I offered up a Star Trek character was because the comparison was between Ruby Rose and Master Chief, thus providing a crossover context...
