TumblrI've been doing more sketches recently so I'm a little rusty at finished art atm, but I've been listening to "Starboy" on repeat & felt like drawing these to space boys^^

Thank you so much!! It's a song by the Weekend ft. Daft Punk . A friend recommended it to me and I surprisingly loved it, even tho it's not really the genre of music I seek out to listen to, but it's catchy & it's very soothing to draw to

I'm glad you like it! Yeah I recently added Pillowtalk as well - the song is so catchy and his vocals are incredible. I usually listen to more 90s/2000s alternative rock, but I'm always up for recs. I tend to prefer alternative/grunge rock overall, just because that's what I grew up listening to, but I do love me some good pop and rap music as well. Honestly, as long as it's a catchy song I don't really care about the genre

I grew up listening to Bluegrass and Metal. I was head banging at the age of 2. Lmao! Metallica was the music I went to sleep to. XD But now I listen to all kinds of music, country, some pop and r&b, Japanese music, classical... so much stuff. Lol! Even 90s Grunge. But my all time favorite singer from the 90s into today is Maynard from Tool. *o* I can listen to all his music and smile.
Recently I've started listening to the song I Hate U, I Love U by Gnash. It's very catchy.
Another catchy song off the top of my head is Sleepwalking by the Chain Gang of 1974.
Sorry for talking your head off, music is one of my favorite subjects. Lol!

Oh yeah, definitely! I grew up listening to Metallica - my mom was always playing One and Enter Sandman on repeat and Tool's Schism is probably in one of my top ten songs ever. Foo Fighters and Weezer are probably some of my favorite bands, but I also adore literally anything Chris Cornell does too lol

My sister LOVES Chris Cornell. I like a lot of his music but I'm not die-hard like my sister. I'm the same when it comes to Foo Fighters and Weezer. Lol! Maynard though... my number one vocalist. Hahaha!
Do you listen to Japanese metal at all? Like Dir en Grey? Some of their music is intense, but they have some softer stuff too. The softer stuff soothes me and makes me want to chill and draw, even if I can't understand everything they say. My 2 favorite soft ones are Higeki wa Mabuta wo Oroshita Yasashiki Utsu (mouthful xD) and Itoshisa wa Fuhai ni Tsuki.

I've actually never listened to any Japanese metal before. I've listened to some J-Rock but more mainstream J-Rock like Orange Range and Uverworld, mostly because I was exposed to it through watching anime. Gotta love those rock anime openings lol. I listen to some K-Pop as well because my friend is really into it and so she gives me suggestions from time to time, but she tends to like the bubblegum pop genre while I always prefer the rock/rap genre more

I got into J-Metal during HS. Got told by some Seniors I could like the music but the members had been claimed by them. She said it so snide... I was ready to throw down but I was banned from fighting for a year. ^_^;;
Anyway! I've heard those bands! I love anime and manga... I'm a total otaku. I love hearing new songs from shows. XD I've been listening to Warcry from Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress a lot. *o* Renegade from Gangsta and Call Your Name from SnK as well. Shintou Shite, Zakuro, and Magnolia by Suilen are amazing too. I heard of her through the show Hellsing. *o* Ilaria Graziano did stuff for Ghost in a Shell, I have so much of her music on my phone.
I listen to some KPop, but I don't know enough to make suggestions. I wouldn't mind taking some though if ya have time to list any of your favorites! ^.^
