This is Muse, an original character I made for the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fandom. She appeared in a couple short things I've done already as gifts for , with a bigger back story to her that involves both her cutie mark and the rather striking feature she has. No, I'm not talking about the fact that she's mute. This little pony is "seeing stars" wherever she goes.

Okay, that pun was awful, even if it is the title of a story I wrote.

Eventually I'll do more for Muse, whenever my personal muse strikes me. (Okay, okay, no more puns.) This is actually one of the first pony drawings I ever did, way back in August of last year, but I decided to play around with vectors, fixed it up a bit, and finally decided on her coloring. Interestingly enough, her cutie mark was the easiest design to decide on next to deciding that she's a unicorn. Styling manes seems to be the hardest thing about having a pony of your own, even when it's not a doll with plastic hair that frizzes up at the drop of a hat and can never be styled worth a darn!

I had a lot of ponies with rats nests for manes and tails. Darn humidity!

I could go into her background and use this description for her profile, but I think detailed information about a character is best left for stories, don't you? Let's just say that she hangs around with a rather chatty little fox, is a resident of Canterlot, is familiar with Twilight Sparkle and certain princesses (but then again, who ISN'T familiar with the rulers of their land?), and she tells very interesting stories of her own without needing a voice. Anything further will have to remain a mystery until I've written it down. I'm sure with enough prodding from certain Bronies and Pegasisters I know, I'll be working on more stories/chapters/art for the magic of friendship soon enough.

A big thank you to everyone who put up with my pestering in the making of this picture. I'd write your names here, but that would just make this embarrassingly long. I can hardly believe that I got so hung up on a particular part. Designing your own pony OC can be a big pain in the flank.
