Description Painting of Edmond Halley, my favorite dead scientist.

Also, this is my first acrylic painting in ages. I was so against painting in acrylics, but my art teacher encouraged me to use them and I can say that I really like them, but I kind of still hate them because they dry so fast and are sealed up after so I can't use the dried paints like gouache. So a lot of paint is wasted.

This is my third painting out of five so far in 2017. I hope I can keep it up!

Are you kidding me? Be honest: you just take photos and claim them to be drawn, you cheater! Haha, no but honestly, it looks so epic. Also the colors are well chosen. I'd love to see more art from you again :')

I used to love working with acrylic paint for the reason they dry fast. What I hated is the fact that they become much darker once they're dry. That ruined many of my pics...

I actually draw from photos I take myself, so you're not wrong XD
There will be more! I'm taking an art elective in uni this semester so there will be new paintings until May
The darkness isn't a problem with me, I just wait for them to dry and layer again. But I hate how fast my paints are being depleted because once dried they are gone forever.

XD hahaha, I should become a fortune-teller (teller is so stupid if you first think of it as the German "Teller" XD the "fortune-plate", haha).
*___* now you made me all excited! I can't wait to see more of your paintings. They really are awesome.
Layering... why didn't THAT come to my brain... But even in digital art, I am too careful. Once it looks okay, I don't dare to draw over it. Guess my work would look much better if I would. That's probably the secret why your art is so full of life. You don't hesitate, if you feel it, you just put it on paper. Keep that up.
That's bad indeed. I put one to three water drop on the color, so it'll be usable much longer. Four hours for sure, once it even last for a day.
