On behalf of a fanfic-idea, and after I saw "Hearth's Warming Eve" (windegos *___*) I started to make Diablo 3 demons in pony form

First I drawed my favourite demon, Xazax, from "Legacy of Blood" and here came his master Belial.

Belial, the Lord of Lies, is one of the Lesser Evils, part of the Great Evils of the Burning Hells.

Along with Azmodan he exiled the three Prime Evils to Sanctuary, after which a civil war broke out between the two Lesser Evils over the control of the Burning Hells. Belial quickly lost the war after just two decades, and it is unknown whether he submitted to Azmodan after that. He is the main villain of the first half of Diablo III, having taken over Kehjistan and using the Coven to enforce and spread his will as far as New Tristram.

HISTORY

Belial took part in the Dark Exile overthrowing the Prime Evils, wrongfully believing Diablo and his brothers to have hesitated in the Great Conflict. The Lord of Lies had once been a protégé of Mephisto, honing his powers of deception under the Lord of Hatred's guidance. Eventually, he would turn on his mentor and manipulated Azmodan into leading a revolt against the Prime Evils, though this may have likely been indirectly encouraged by Mephisto himself. With the armies of Azmodan and Belial unified, the Prime Evils were cast out of Hell, destroying a full third of Hell's demons in the battle.
During the Exile, Belial ruled half of Hell opposite Azmodan. Because of their conflicting leadership, all of Hell was polarized in a state of civil war. One of his servants is Xazax. It is not known if Belial joined with Andariel and Duriel in supporting the Prime Evils' return, but with their defeat, it is likely that Hell has returned to its prior state of war.
