This picture was really well done, the colors were used nicely, and it was detailed very well. I really liked how the picture looks like it came out of the show, and how accurate everything looked. I also love how well the shadows came out, and how well the manes look. The background is perfect, in fact this entire picture is the closet anyone could get to perfection. I had never seen such a beautiful picture, it was original, clear, and just simply the best I ever seen. I love how well this entire masterpiece was done. I love it!

Any amount of time sounds quite little after making such a cool drawing! The style used on it resemble the official one from Hasbro, it could pass as one deleted scene from the Too Many Pinkie Pies episode from how well it looks. The textures applied for making it give me the feeling this could also be included in some official artbook or something, it does looks like official material. Finally, this drawing also reminds me of the mandatory anime moment when a random character fails at doing something at the very last second of an episode, the joke is also on the audience itself for they will never know what happened afterwards, it will remain as an enigma. This last one came to my mind for the style used on them in contrast with the distant background, time seems to have stopped for what has happened to Derpy. our princess better change that orange back into a muffin before the fandom crucifies her. Final verdict: remarkable way of portraying something that could have been included in the actual episode, perhaps orange muffins could do the trick Twilight, awesome picture, bye!

I have to say that this certainly is an interesting piece. It really hit me seeing Derpy, or Ditzy which ever name you call her by, about ready to cry. How could you do such a thing Twilight? Anyway, it hits me hard, looking at this, almost like it could be an actual scene in the show, and that's nice.
This is my first time seeing this kind of style, and I have to say, it's visually pleasing. Though if anything, I would say Derpy's (Ditzy's) mane is a little too bright, and distracting for me. My eyes keeps wanting to focus on her forelocks more than any other part of the image. It's a little unsettling for me.
The style itself is completely new to me, and actually works quite nicely. The scene, as I mentioned earlier, does feel like it would fit in an episode of "My Little Pony" some where, though where that is exactly I'm not sure.
I deducted points in originality for two reasons, and then gave a point back for another reason. The first reason for deducting points is common for me, and that is the fact it is based off an already existing piece of work. Serious question; if "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic" didn't exist, would you have still drawn this? The second reason, is the canon characters. Even though for a scene like this I can not picture any other ponies involved, it still doesn't change the fact that I see the canon characters everywhere. However, the reason I gave points back, is because of the scene being non-existent in the show, or else where that I have seen.

Aw poor Derpy, I love imagining the conversation in these types of pictures, I pictured Derpy just about to take a bite out of the muffin, when suddenly, a bolt of magical energy makes contract with the muffins and turnes it into an orange, Derpy then frowns to in which a very embarrassed Twilight approaches her and apologises, begging her not to cry, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I made Derpy even the slightest bit sad, that face is just so heartwrenching. Love the coloring a lot as well, very pleasing to the eye, and blends very welI with the bright tones and the finish of the shadows is spectacular. But the most eye catching thing of coarse is the orange which is good because it is the subject of this piece, overall very balanced and appealing piece, with loads of personality, very well done.

This is wonderful! I thought it was a muffin with too much batter in it at first, but then I realized it was an orange. The manes are so detailed, the background is as well. I love it! I love the shading and the shadow, ooh, I only dream to draw with your wonderful skill! The texture, everything about this drawing is top-notch. The vision is absolutely clear, the idea is very creative, your technique was obviously great due to the way the final drawing turned out. Now's the impact. I was talking about the orange, which is great in texture, and color, but it's a bit too big to be an orange. I'd never wish this wasn't ever drawn!

This is amazing! That 7 hours was worth it, You are an amazing artist. I love the way Twilight turned a muffin into an orange. It's so adorable! The shading is good, The backround is nice, everything is just perfect! I sure do feel sorry for Derpy though, But it's ok, Because this artwork needs to be on the top 10 arts of Deviantart 2013 ! I need to watch you, This piece of work is just amazing and adorable. This peice of work is B-E-A-Utiful! I love how it makes you feel sad than want to laugh your legs off. You also know that Twilight is giving a face of forgiveness. I say you can understand the laughter and sadness of the picture.
In other word this picture is amazing in very unique way and expresses the creativity of the artist and or other artists.
I forgot to say about the shading fantastic on that its like you are in that picture.
I say 5 stars for this picture and its going on my favorites for sure baby!

I love this! It's cute, colourful, and it gives off the air of being My Little Pony themed without being quite so cartoon-ish. The use of the warm colours for shading looks really nice, and your sense of perspective is really good ^^ I especially love the texture of this picture, though. It really looks like you've painted it onto a canvas, which is nice because most digital art has that untextured smoothness. Also, Twilight and Derpy have the most perfect facial expressions!
One last thing that intrigues me about this picture is the way you've drawn it... so much detail, and yet certain aspects of it (The tree outline, flags etc) look simple, which is really pretty :3

Now about the drawing. The use of shades are well done. It looks almost a watercolor painting. The typical sad Derpy exprrssion is cute and don't have to have any tekst or explenation. Her Muffin is turned into an orange, which is funny, cuz I did actually made muffins WITH orange marmalade. Vision- It looks wonderful. Just wonderful. I love the idea.
Originality- There are a lot of Twilight orange pictures, but you made it your own.
Technique-It was detailed, and great, but Twi is kind of strange. I love the expressions and colors.

This is such a fun piece! The idea is super cute, and the facial expressions are just perfect! The coloring technique is also very nice; I like the mainly cool palette with violet shading. The background is very well done, and recedes into the back of the painting, just as it should. The yellow highlights on Twilight tie the two focal points in nicely -- though their expressive faces did that as well. The orange -- I died laughing. The reflective light was well-placed, though I'm sure you could use more on the edges of the dark objects since it's an outdoor scene. The one thing that kinda kills me, though, is the ellipse of the table. It always helps to use the circle tool underneath to make sure it's perfect! Other than that, this is an awesome, awesome piece. Well done!

yes very nice but I kinda don't like this because this is one of those reaons why some people find her offensive. derpy is very cool and we love her. Though why an orange exactly? And I'm sure derpy can tell the diference between an orange and a muffin. Though kinda makes me laugh but not a whole lot but a little. not very funny but nice artwork, color use, and backround. But to be fair umm why an orange? I like this art though and again how it's made and shouldn't that orange flatten that paper instead of being he up by it? how does that work?

This is in reference to the bit from the episode Too Many Pinkies where Twilight was trying to use a spell to turn an apple into an orange but Pinkie kept ruining her aim and the spell was bouncing all over the place and hitting random things. This was no comment on Derpy's intelligence but, instead, meant to convey that Derpy would be sad if her muffin was randomly turned into an orange.

The facial features seem straight out of the show. Coloring is well done and very attractive. There's a story in this picture that I'd wanna see. Due to the lack of such a story, the way the figures are interacting could be one of two things: confusing or intriguing. I wouldn't have designed the muffin to look like that, but this isn't my art. The color style seems like a clash or realism and cartoon animation. It's cute, new, and a nice piece. It's in my favorites and I plan on following you on deviant art to see how you grow from here.

As for the muffin design, it plays to Twilights experiments in turning apples (and accidentally other objects) into oranges.
The apologetic look from Twilight relates to Derpy's love for muffins, and she now has an orange instead.

Honestly, I can understand how Twiliey feels awful while trying to turn an apple into an orange *cough* but... well something went wrong. Pinkie came out of nowhere which kind of ruined Twi's concentration distracting her (scared her) and something else becomes an orange even Derpy's muffin. Oh dear!Β
