Description Reference I'm going to use for my anime course.
This is the basic anime style full female body. Without genitals because Japan does not allow showing the genitals of grown-ups on general media. So no need to teach what's going to be censored anyway.

This is a "Basic" style, which needs to be customized accordingly to the design you will be working on. (taller, bulkier, thiner, etc.)

Feel free to use as reference, if it helps.

Omg, your a life saver. I have the hardest time making them proportional. They come out as dwarfs or giants. Thank you a million times for posting this.

[link] Boobs pretty much make or break a female torso since they usually wind up being a major way to define it's shape. One of the single biggest changes you can do is draw them as if they were attached to a curved surface instead of a flat one.

Quite true. I was actually thinking of not involving the breasts at all since it differs in the individual character as well as the style. But this is only a "basic" guide for the students who just haven't been able to get the anatomy down yet and were asking for reference. (Althought I directed them to many fabulous books and websites)

I understand you in pointing out that the attached surface is flat. Unfortunately, that is the trend in the industry right now(flat chests with minimum boobs). So I'm going to have to get them used to that (the course is to train for the industry). Actually the breasts in this one are larger than most designs because I personally like to show boobs on the female form.

I'm very sorry that I can not comply to your advice this time. I personally favor the style you mentioned, but I got to go with the current flow for now.

Thank you so much for the link. It is wonderful! I'm going to go practise some boobs now for my own sake. And thank you very much for your time.

Sorry I didn't mean flat as in cup size, I meant if you were to have a plane extending outwards from the vertical axis of each boob the two planes should be diverging rather than parallel.

Oh, did I rant too much about cup size? haha. Sorry, my love for boobs showed I guess.
No, I perfectly understand what you pointed out. My explanation was jumbled, sorry.
