TRC, one really good anime, sadly we it stopped when it really started getting good.
Oh gosh, I love how you did the sky! It looks quite realistic! 
Those ripples in the water are wonderful too!

The anime just ends with these really good OVAs. They were such cliffhangers too! LOL
Hehe, the theory behind making a sky like that. Wish I knew how to make my sky nights look realistic like that.

oh.. i used 2 layers to blend the sky and water.. airbrushed some darkened red/orange/purple, the used the nebulae brush set in photoshop. the stars are just different sized dots that have light outer glow. i should've made them vary in brightness and darkness tho.. so they don't compete with the foreground and the sakura petals... i think the background just looks like a complete mess tbh. lllOTL.
