Chieko was helping her mother tidy the closet when she found a old book with a seal on it. "Mom? what's that?" asked the ten-year-old. Yuna looked up questioningly, then smiled slightly and noticed the old leather-covered book in Chieko's hands. "My my... how long have I not seen that....", the young mother brushed a strand of hair out of her face and slid to her daughter.

"It's your grandmother's legacy. It says everything about the Hoshikawa clan," Yuna explained in a soft voice. "It was Granny’s? We're from the Hoshikawa clan! May I read it?" asked young Hatake excitedly. Yuna looked at her and smiled. "Your father won't approve of it... but you're old enough to know everything," she motioned for her to follow her mother.

Yuna opened the door to the garden. meanwhile it was dark outside. Chieko followed her mother outside and sat down on the grass with her. fireflies buzzed around and Chieko watched. how her mother broke the seal on the book. Yuna explained the history of the Hoshikawa to her daughter and showed her secret techniques. Chieko was fascinated by what her mother was able to do. In the end she gave her daughter one thing to take with her:

"And as long as there are stars in the sky, we carry hope in our hearts. Never despair, let heaven guide you. Kami and Hokushin always show us the right way".
