This took me... five, if not, six hours of drawing to get this done... and through the entirety of this drawing, I only used a HB pencil and an eraser. I started it two days ago and finished it yesterday.Given how I asked people to draw Karyana in a Goddess form, I decided to try and draw my own. I decided to try and modify Karyana's hair a bit by giving it a big of a fan-out effect, and added a wreath to keep the moon-and-sun piece on her head. I also added detail to the gem on her chest and gave her a short cape that is attached to her back by the arm guards and the neck-piece. I also added some old-and-new details by having the criss-crossing ribbons around the skirt of her robe.
But honestly, what got me started on this was her expression. There was just something so... soothing about it that I couldn't help but keep working on it, adding little details here and there to polish it.
And if you wonder about the 'Oath' in question, well... I'll soon be writing a short piece that speaks of it.

wow...talk about a goddess..i'm not one for devotion to a unseen force i see no evidence of or putting loyalty into someone on face value...but i'd have her be my guide and savior through life and trust my existence to her...and since kiddya is my sort of self.....he would too
