Noe is a myth and a legend amongst the Akarion race. There are many stories that circle around the crowds of the Akarions, some say she was a tormented soul who steals travelers children, some say she is a guiding light. In many aspects all the stories could be considered true. The story following is the true story of Noe.

Noe was born into the Ashinik Clan, but raised outside of the border in the mountains of Gabor. Her parents abandoned her because some Akarions believe that Hermaphrodites are "tainted" or "bad blood" among the species. There are groups of Akarions who truly want to rid of the "bad blood". They are underground groups known as the "Korosu" (meaning "kill" in Japanese) who want to rid of the "Dolor" (which means "hybrid" in Latin). "Dolor" is a very derogatory and disrespectful word towards herms. The Korosu even will go as far as killing the entire family, just to make sure the gene isn't passed down.

Noe's parents, Kujo and Yara, died trying to protect her. Both of her parents loved Noe very much, but they knew for sure that if she was ever found out, she would have been killed by the Korosu. One night the Arckoiya house was plundered by a bunch of bandits, though some of these bandits where part of the Korosu. Kujo fended them off while Noe and her mother could escape. Fleeing from the house, Yara clenched on to Noe tightly, running far into the depths of the forest. Once they killed Kujo two bandits ran after Noe and her mother. The two bandits were very fast and caught up with Noe and Yara quickly and circled around them. One bandit unsheathed his dagger, while the other his bow. Yara, still gripping on to the infant, threw her right hand up. A flash of red light started accumulating in the palm of her hand. The red light turned into a flow of flames that pierced the bandit with the dagger. The bandit screeched in pain as he swiped at her. But as he tried to slice her he fell piercing himself instead. Yara then took the opportunity to douse him in flames, but before she could an arrow bore into her arm. The flames flowing around Yara's hand dissipated leaving traces of blood to replace the flow of flames. Yara fell the to the ground in pain. Another arrow penetrated her midsection. "-ack" Yara coughed up blood as she leaned and fell backward, dropping Noe in the process. Noe started crying. The bandit started to shift closer and stood over the child. The bandit pulled out a small dagger from his belt and reared back. "Don't.." Yara coughed. "Please...*cough*..she is just a child," Yara whispered in pain as she reached out to the bandit. The bandit glared at Yara with a cold stare. "-tch...Dolor scum," he muttered under his breath. As he turned back to finish his kill Yeünntheos appeared before him. Out of Yeünntheos's bright aurora the bandit was blinded by the intense light. Within a second the two bandits were transformed into trees. Yeünn turned towards the mother and child. "Please...take care of my baby..." Yara said with her last breath. Yeünn leaned down towards Yara and kissed her forehead. Through that kiss Yara slowly glowed and disappeared, swirling into the sky as flower petals. Yeünn then looked down at little Noe still weeping. Yeünn extended his arm and picked Noe up. As he picked her up they disappeared into the night. ~

Yeünn protected Noe throughout her years. When she was an adolescent he blessed her with healing white magic. Yeünn was Noe's teacher and he taught her many things about the world. Noe was a very smart and curious individual who loved to learn. She would journey to the Ashinik Clan and watch the younglings play. One day a child actually saw her and asked her to come play with them. After awhile some parents saw her playing with them then quickly realized that she was tainted blood. The parents dragged their children away from her shouting, "Tainted! Tainted blood!" Noe was left alone again. She ran back into the woods and sat by a pond. She saw her reflection and started crying. Yeünn heard her crying and walked up to her side. "Why are you weeping my child?" Yeünn asked. Noe looked up at Yeünn, "What's wrong with me? The adults take their children away from me when I just want to play...I just...wanted to play with them.." Noe replies with tears welling up in her eyes. Yeünn smiles at her and extends his hands to cup her face. "My child, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you," Yeünn says as he wipes her tears trickling down her face. "You are perfect...They just can not see beauty when it is right in front of them." Yeünn gently kissed her forehead and Noe glowed with purity from Yeünn's light. From that day on Noe knew she was made for something greater, to bring peace and harmony.

As Noe grew older she was basically an earth priestess, healing the earth where it was damaged, healing travelers who got hurt through their pilgrimage. Though, there isn't always nice travelers...one fateful day a member of the Korosu was contracted to kill Noe. This member was one of the highest ranks in class of assassin. Noe was meditating near the same pond from long ago when Yeünn comforted her. Among the trees the Korosu waited for the pristine moment to strike. When Noe got up to walk towards the water, the Korosu drew her bow and struck Noe straight in chest. Noe struck the water head first. The water began to turn red. Noe bled out and lay lifeless in the water. Yeünn appeared through the trees, and with many branches gently picked Noe up out of the bloodstained water. The Korosu stared at Yeünn and tried to run. Roots came up out of the ground and dragged the Korosu back towards the him. The roots bound and wrapped around the Korosu so she couldnt move. Yeünn inched closer the the Korosu. "The wicked shall fall to the innocent." he hissed. The Korosu's eyes widened with fear. The roots started to burrow into her skin. She scream in agonizing pain, the roots were draining her life force. The roots tangled and grew tighter until she turned into ashes. Yeünn turned to Noe, who was laying lifelessly on his branches. Tears began to stream down Yeünn's face, all his limbs caressed Noe close to him. "Your beauty has yet to be known" he whispered lovingly. Noe's mortal body started to disappear, but with the life force Yeünn took, you intertwined it with Noe's soul. She glowed ever so brightly, even more than she ever had before. Although she didn't have a mortal body anymore, she became something even more powerful and graceful. "I breathe the essence of guidance and light upon you, Daughter of Earth," Yeünn said as he released her. Out of Yeünn's sorrow, that day turned into a harsh winter that lasted for over a year in Atlin.

From then on Noe became the ghost of light within the woods. She has been a guide to those in danger and heals the weary. Though she only appears to those who she sees fit for her presence. Mostly children can only see Noe because they are innocent, which makes a lot of Akarions think Noe isn't real, or she was just a legend to the race. Like I said before Noe is a humble and tranquil spirit. She will appear to anyone out of anywhere and can appear as both or either male or female to passing travelers. Normally she will just point you in the right direction for your path and can bestow a small token for skill. (meaning she can give you a choice between making whatever your certain power is, just a little bit better) She can also be seen more by children, rather than adults, because some people don't believe in her, so they won't be able to see her spiritual light.
