Hey y'all! Another book cover for the excellent Teresa Wilde, this time for her cute-creepy Confessions of a Teenage Demon Magnet! I love the cast in this one; they're such an adorkable bunch of superpowered bumps-in-the-night. And they like to hang out in seedy diners at 3 in the morning eating greasy sandwiches. Adorkable! I love them. And I'm sure you will too~

Yes, it was a great experience! I got to read the book before illustrating the cover, and I was really happy to be able to draw a piece for such a fun story. ^_^

This book sounds super interesting too ;3; And the cover illustration is gorgeous! I love how the blue has a bit of texture to it, almost like it's another of your paper cuttings.
(Also the way the green lighting is reflecting off of her skin is great, it's amazing how you can get that look with cel shading.... :'3 )

Man I love my cel shading, it makes so much more sense to me than blended shading....
I've been trying to use pattern and texture a little more in my work, trying to kinda blend together cut-paper and drawing.... So I'm glad you noticed!
